Kelly Appleby
MSW, RSW
I have worked in mental health as a Registered Social Worker for over 20 years, helping people recognize, acknowledge and heal from trauma and challenging life experiences. In my therapy practice, I work with both individuals and couples.Ā My work is informed by extensive knowledge and training in trauma, addiction, and adverse life experiences as well as evidence-based therapies including, InternalĀ Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Emotionally Focused Therapy and EMDR, that support healing from a mind, body, and spirit perspective.Ā I believe that personal growth and healing happens in the context of safe, respectful, and accepting relationships. My knowledge is supported by a foundational belief in and ability to create warm, compassionate and trusting spaces that promote open exploration, goal-setting, and courageous personal growth.
Ā
I am firmly grounded in the belief that personal growth is an ongoing journey for all of us. I believe my own healing journey has provided me with the opportunity to show up in my role as a therapist with humanity, presence, humility, and authenticity.
