Mary Foran, also known as "Dream the Edge," is a Sacred Space Holder and Compassion Guide specializing in Restorative Yoga and Somatic Practices. With over three decades dedicated to healing and exploration, Mary skillfully blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to support individuals on their path to wholeness.
Mary's healing journey began at 25 with self-discovery through Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki. This led her to a comprehensive, three-year Transpersonal Therapy program, which she completed at age 29. This intensive training immersed her in both Eastern and Western healing traditions, specifically equipping her to support individuals navigating Spiritual Emergence through therapeutic approaches such as Psychodrama, Jungian Psychology, Somatic Experiencing, Bioenergetics, Dreamwork, Holotropic Breathwork, Meditation, and Shamanic Healing Traditions.
Following her Transpersonal training, Mary became a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher. Over the past 21 years, she has specialized as a Restorative Yoga teacher, having taught over 9,000 yoga classes and trained 400 yoga teachers in her specialized practice. Her dedication to offering somatic healing practices is further supported by certifications in Thai Yoga Massage and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. Recognizing the intricate connection between physical well-being and overall health, she also trained as a Medical Exercise Specialist, enabling her to design customized physical rehabilitation practices for injuries, surgeries, and various health conditions. Currently a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, Mary has continuously deepened her expertise over two decades with additional training in Pre-Natal Yoga, Non-Violent Communication, Meditation, and Shamanic Energy Work. Mary is also a trained Hospice Volunteer and has been offering Bedside Singing, Reiki, Yoga, and Meditation since 2019.Â
