Cancer has a profound impact on your physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, but you don't have to walk this path alone. Whether you are a person living with cancer or a caregiver, I'm here to support you. I provide a compassionate space for you to share what you're going through and to reflect on what matters most to you. I hope to help you foster a sense of connection, self compassion and clarity as you navigate the illness and recovery journey ahead.
I have been working as a social worker since 2011 and during that time I have had the privilege of partnering with people navigating chronic and life-limiting illnesses, grief and loss, psychological trauma, and other mental health concerns. I have consistently been inspired by the creativity and resilience of the people I collaborate with through my work in hospitals, schools and community counselling agencies.
Having had my own experience providing care to a parent, I am also acutely aware of the unique challenges faced by caregivers. I am here to accompany you, as you walk alongside your loved one, every step of the way.
I draw from my training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to provide a personalized approach to your care that honours your unique perspectives, needs and preferences. I welcome your feedback along the way to ensure we're moving in the right direction, together.
