Patience Potvin

Ā

Patience has built her career on the art of bringing order to complexity. With a Bachelor of Arts in English, she began her professional journey in New York City’s publishing world. At McGraw-Hill Education, she worked at the center of creativity and logistics, managing educational program packaging while also serving as Editor in Chief of the division’s quarterly newsletter.

She went on to spend over a decade at Scholastic Inc. as a Demand Planner and Operations Specialist, where she helped generate over $100M in annual revenue and became a trusted liaison across departments. Later, as Senior Demand Planner at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, she managed forecasts for more than 1,200 titles ensuring accuracy, collaboration, and clear communication across teams. Deeply dedicated to educational publishing and intervention programs, Patience has always valued her role in supporting students who struggle with literacy or English as a second language—recognizing that these learners benefit from the acute instruction, time, and attention such resources provide.

Known for her reliability, passion, and steady leadership, she thrives at the intersection of strategy and human connection. Patience is now excited to begin a new chapter as Office Manager at the Eir Centre, supporting her sister, Dr. Kylea Potvin, oncologist and CEO/founder, in advancing cancer healing through compassionate and holistic care.
