At the Eir Centre, we offer caring, whole-person cancer care. Our medical & oncology services are covered by OHIP with a referral from your doctor or nurse practitioner.

We will work alongside your current cancer physicians and healthcare providers.

Services offered for any type of cancer:

Illness Understanding: counselling around the type of cancer you've been diagnosed with, its stage, and the trajectory of the illness going forward
Assistance in making decisions around the treatments you've been offered by healthcare providers that are in line with your personal values and preferences
Work with our teams at The Eir Centre to develop a personalized holistic plan to balance your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs (as part the Integrative Wellness Assessment)
Assessment and management of side effects from cancer treatment
Connection with other providers and services to manage side effects from treatment, as well as palliative and supportive care
Work with our team of mental health professionals to provide specialized care for the depression and anxiety that often accompany cancer, as well as the existential distress around end-of-life.
Dr. Potvin will accept referrals for long-term management of prostate cancer requiring anti-hormone and other oral therapies.
The Eir Centre also accept patients with early stage cancer who who do not have a family physician but require ongoing follow up and care for their cancer.
