Listening Within:

A Sound & Story Workshop Series

When was the last time you truly listened to yourself — beneath the busy?

This gentle workshop series offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect, and listen inward through sound meditation and reflective writing. Each session includes grounding practices, expressive writing invitations (no experience needed), and a restorative group sound journey.

This is not about doing it right, it is about creating space to meet what is already within you.

Research suggests that guided writing can support emotional processing, resilience, and well-being, helping people reconnect with meaning, clarity, and moments of joy.

Come as you are.

Listen. Write. Rest.

  • Caroline Nolan is a certified sound therapy practitioner at the Eir Centre, with a background in narrative-focused corporate and non-profit communications and earlier award-winning work in print journalism.

She is accredited by the International Sound Therapy Association and is also a Peter Hess® Sound Massage Practitioner certified by the Peter Hess Institute.

At the heart of her practice is sound therapy: using voice, singing bowls, and resonant instruments, she creates immersive sound experiences for individuals and groups to support nervous system relaxation, deepen awareness, and open space for reflection.

Her work is also rooted in creating calm, supportive spaces for reflection, guided by a storytelling approach that invites participants to explore and express their inner experience. Caroline integrates reflective writing practices with sound to help participants notice patterns, surface insights, and give voice to emotions, creating a tangible way to process experiences, grief, and joy.

Caroline pairs sound and story experiences with writing and narrative prompts, allowing participants to explore their inner story, release what no longer serves them, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Her approach is gentle, creative, and evidence-informed, offering accessible practices that can support emotional resilience, well-being, and self-clarity. Caroline works from the belief that each person carries an inner wisdom that can be heard when we create the space to truly listen to what lives within.
