Dance—Move to Connect

This dance & movement program focuses on using movement as a tool for connection, self-expression, and well-being. Participants of all abilities are welcome

Clara Gharibo is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and business owner. Her business, CYouMove is built on her dance values- to help people rediscover the joys of dance and find freedom with movement. She believes that dance builds connection to yourself and others, a means of self expression, a creative outlet, a way to communicate feelings/ideas and an emotional release. She has been dancing for over 25 years and has trained in a variety of dance styles, primarily ballet and contemporary. Clara has been dancing professionally with London-based dance company, La Compagnie De Danse since 2019.

  • Each session follows a thoughtful progression to encourage physical, emotional, and creative engagement 

    Mind Dump: 
    A journaling exercise to release thoughts and set intentions

    Warm-Up: 
    Gentle movement to awaken the body and build connection 

    Creative Movement: 
    Exploring different ways of moving for self-expression

    Dance Basics & Feel-Good Grooves: 
    Simple, uplifting dance steps for fun and coordination

    Cool-Down Stretches: 
    Relaxing movements to restore balance

    Reflection: 
    Opportunity to share insights and experiences with the group
